Assisted living facilities and group homes licensed under Ch. 429 carry NO medical-director mandate — confirmed by reviewing Ch. 429 Part I directly (only an Administrator is required). A medical director IS required for skilled nursing facilities specifically (Fla. Admin. Code R. 59A-4.1075, plus the federal 42 CFR §483.75(i) Condition of Participation) — but SNFs are licensed under Ch. 400 Part II, a different facility type than this category's ALF/group-home focus.
