Notes

CONFIRMED for nursing homes specifically (S.C. Code Regs. § 61-17.600.604) — tracks the federal SNF requirement (42 CFR 483.75(i)) already in force nationwide. South Carolina's separately-licensed Community Residential Care Facilities (assisted living, S.C. Code Regs. Ch. 61-84) were checked directly — their Staff/Training section lists only Administrator, Staff, Inservice Training, Health Status, and Private Sitters, with NO medical-director subsection — a confirmed absence at that lower-acuity tier, not an open question.
