Everything on this site, including each state page, comparison table, glossary entry, cost estimate and weekly brief, is provided for general educational and informational purposes only. It sets out our reading of state statutes, administrative codes and licensing-board rules as they stood when we last reviewed them.

Nothing here is legal, regulatory, clinical or financial advice, and nothing here is a substitute for it. Reading this site, or building a document through it, does not create an attorney-client, advisory or any other professional relationship with Physician Agreement or with Collab Cares.

Laws, rules and board guidance change often, and they change without notice to us. We review the state research behind this site on a near-weekly basis and record the review date on each state page. Even so, there can be a gap between a change taking effect and its appearance here, and any page may contain errors, omissions or material that is out of date.

Before you rely on anything on this site for a licensing, compliance, contracting or hiring decision, confirm the current requirement with the governing board and with a licensed attorney in your state. The citations on each page identify the primary sources to check.
